Philosophy Femmes+ Applied Philosophy Book Club

Philosophy Femmes+ is a student-lead online community that seeks to create a place for enbies, women and other unrepresented minorities in philosophy to engage with and discuss philosophical topics in a welcoming environment. Its members include graduate students but also independent researchers, hobbyists and anyone else willing to embrace diversity and participate in good faith.

The Applied Philosophy Bookclub reads texts that center practical inquiry to solve social and philosophical problems. Meetings are once per month on our discord (link to join below). Readings are announced close to the meeting date, usually papers dealing with relevant social issues. Doing the reading is encouraged but not required - a summary of the key points will be given during the session to guide discussion.
