Details

The conference aims to survey ongoing original research on agency, politics, responsibility and their connections. Special attention will be given to political agency and the responsibility of groups. A wide variety of related questions will be addressed, including, but not limited to, the existence and nature of group agents, criteria of group responsibility, how and whether agents can act jointly, what distinguishes action from behaviour, what legitimacy groups in conflict zones have, group epistemic virtues, and what interplay of emotion and reason renders relations between persons as genuine. The aim is to discuss, learn from and enable participants to collaboratively improve their new, original ongoing research on a number of interconnected topics.
