The Western Michigan University Graduate Student Association of Philosophers (GSAP) is pleased to announce its 20th Annual Graduate Student Philosophy Conference. The conference will be held on Friday, March 12th and Saturday, March 13th, 2027, at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided during the conference.
We are excited to be joined by Kyla Ebels Duggan of Northwestern University and Edward Elliott of the University of Notre Dame as our two keynote speakers. We are also happy to be joined by our WMU alumnus speaker, Adam Zweber of the University of Pittsburgh, who graduated from our program in 2016.
Submission Guidelines
The conference has no specific theme, so we welcome submissions from graduate students in any field of philosophy. Submissions should not exceed 3,500 words, excluding footnotes and references. Submissions must be prepared for anonymous review and should be accompanied by a separate document with the author’s name, contact information, institution, paper’s title, word count, and an abstract of 350 words or less. The deadline for submitting papers is Saturday, January 9th, 2027. We aim to send out notifications of acceptance by Early February 2027.
