The IPA invites submissions in any area of philosophy for the 2026 Fall Conference at Purdue University, November 13-14. Submitted abstracts should be:

(i) between 150-300 words in length,

(ii) prepared for blind review, and

(iii) accompanied by a separate document that includes the title and the author’s information (name, affiliation, and contact information).

Materials should be submitted to Mickey Hernandez at [email protected] with “IPA Fall 2026 Submission” in the subject line. Suggestions for commentators and session chairs (including self-nominations) are also welcome.

 

Graduate Paper Prize:

The IPA will present an award to the best paper submitted by a graduate student. The award will be accompanied by a cash prize of $100. Graduate student papers submitted for the competition should be identified as such on the title sheet. Please make note on submission title document that you would like to be considered for this prize.

David McCarty Prize in Logic:

This prize is awarded in honor of David McCarty in recognition of outstanding work in logic and the philosophy of mathematics. The winner will receive a cash prize of $100. Absent suitable submissions, the IPA reserves the right not to award the prize.
