Details

SYLLOS2 is a workshop within CAELO 1 (Lima, 22-28 February 2027) dedicated to syllogistics from formal, philosophical, and historical perspectives. This symposium will explore syllogistics in a broad sense, from Aristotle’s original proposal through Hellenic and medieval developments to contemporary approaches, including both work defending and challenging syllogistic traditions. It aims to foster dialogue across the history, philosophy, and formal theory of logic, bringing together different perspectives to deepen our understanding of the languages, structures, and significance of syllogistic reasoning.
