The Journal of Law, Society, and Authority (JLSA) invites original research articles and scholarly contributions for its forthcoming Volume 16, Issue 1, scheduled for publication in March 2027.

JLSA welcomes rigorous and original scholarship in law, political science, international relations, and related fields in the social sciences and humanities. The journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary, comparative, theoretical, and empirical contributions addressing contemporary issues of law, political authority, governance, institutions, society, and international affairs.

Areas of Interest

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

• Law, legal systems, and institutional transformations

• Constitutional, administrative, and international law

• Human rights and fundamental freedoms

• Political institutions, governance, and public policy

• Political theory and contemporary political developments

• International relations and global governance

• International security and foreign policy

• European and comparative politics

• State–society relations and socio-legal issues

• Contemporary transformations in political, legal, and international affairs

The list is indicative rather than exhaustive. Contributions within the multidisciplinary scope of the journal are welcome.
