Call for Papers: 2027 University of Connecticut Graduate Philosophy Conference

We are excited to announce that the annual graduate conference hosted by the Philosophy Department at the University of Connecticut will be held on April 24, 2027.  We invite submissions from graduate students in all areas of philosophy.

• The deadline for submissions of papers is January 10, 2027. 
• To submit your paper, please use the following form: https://forms.gle/okPddS3cdipQhXjR6
• Submissions should not exceed 5,000 words (including footnotes), and should include a short abstract of 300-500 words. 
• Please include 2-5 keywords for your topic. 
• All submissions must be in PDF format. 
• Papers should be prepared for blind review, with file name: UCONN2027_Title
• Submit a separate cover letter in PDF format with the following details: name, paper title, institutional affiliation, and contact information. 
• Only one submission per person will be considered. Co-authoring is allowed, but all authors must be current graduate students in philosophy. 
• Successful applicants will be notified by February 28, 2027. 
• Presenters should expect to follow roughly this format: 30 minutes of presentation, 10 minutes for comments and an optional response, and 15 minutes for questions.
