Join us for a public dialogue with Prof. Patrice D. Douglass (UC Berkeley) on Black sexuality, gender, respectability politics, and the social ontology of Blackness. This generative dialogue will feature insights from Douglass' field shifting book Engendering Blackness: Slavery and the Ontology of Sexual Violence.
The dialogue will be held in-person at Santa Clara University on October 27th, 2026 but will also be available via live stream for those wishing to attend virtually.
