Texas Tech’s 9th Annual Philosophy Graduate Student Conference on Metaethics

March 6-7, 2015

Keynote Speaker:

Mark Schroeder, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Southern California

General Information:

The Texas Tech University Philosophy Graduate Student Association announces a call for papers for its 9th annual graduate student conference, to be held March 6 - 7, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas. The topic for this conference is metaethics.

Possible Funding:

A small stipend may be awarded to some presenters to reduce the cost of travel.

Submission Details:

Submissions from current graduate students in any area of metaethics are welcome.  

Papers should be between 3,000 and 3,500 words.  All papers should be prepared for blind review.  Include with each submission a separate document containing the presenter’s name, institution, e-mail address, and paper title.  Submissions may be in .PDF, .docx or .doc format. 

Papers must be submitted no later than Friday, January 16th, 2015.   

All submissions should be sent to Mason Arline ([email protected]) with subject heading, “TTU Conference Submission”.  Students who have submitted a paper shall receive a notification of acceptance by Friday, January 30th, 2015.
