CONFERENCE THEME

This conference aims to bring together philosophers and philosophically minded academics from related disciplines (e.g. finance, political science, economics, sustainability) who work on questions in financial ethics. We invite submissions on ethical or political issues raised by money and finance (broadly construed), including topics such as the ethics of debt, financial fraud, sustainable finance, socially responsible investing, microfinance and global justice, the politics of central banking, ethical foundations of financial markets, philosophical issues concerning cryptocurrencies, and related issues.

SUBMISSION

To submit an abstract, please email [email protected]. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words (excluding references). The abstract should be anonymised for blind review and attached as a separate file. In the email, include the author’s name, affiliation, and paper title. Accepted talks will be allocated 30 minutes, including 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is 1 February 2027. We aim to notify applicants of the outcome within 14 days after the submission deadline.
