Details

The Bielefeld-Southampton-Berlin (BiSoBer) Normativity Workshop will bring together philosophers working on normativity. We invite submissions on normativity in and across different domains—moral, prudential, epistemic, aesthetic, legal, semantic, and so on – as well as on general questions concerning reasons, rationality, obligation, fittingness, value, and the like. Our primary aim is to provide a forum for lively and constructive exchange amongst philosophers currently working in the field.

The workshop is the eleventh in an annual series alternating between the University of Southampton, Humboldt University Berlin, and, since 2025, Bielefeld University.

Participation is free, but registration will be required and spaces limited - registration information will be made available in due course.

The workshop will be organised in accordance with the BPA/SWIP Good Practice Scheme and the BPA/SWIP Guidelines for Accessible Conferences.
