Details

The Research Centre for English Language and Literature (RCELL), India, invites abstracts for the RCELL International Conference 2027, "Literature in the Age of AI: Posthumanism, Digital Humanities, and Ecological Futures", held online on Zoom on 13–14 February 2027, in academic partnership with Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies (Autonomous), Kerala, and Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Punjab.

Artificial intelligence is changing how literature is written, read, taught and studied. At the same time, posthumanist thought and the climate crisis are unsettling older ideas of the human, of agency and of the future. The conference invites scholars to think about these changes together, across literary studies, philosophy and critical theory, digital humanities and the environmental humanities.
