Details

The 7th Interdisciplinary Conference Taboo – Transgression – Transcendence in Art & Science (TTT2027 Vienna) is taking place from 14 to 17 September 2027 at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Angewandte), Austria. The conference is supported by Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) and the inter-university Art x Science School for Transformation.

TTT is an international, nomadic, interdisciplinary conference, first held in 2016 at Ionian University in Corfu, Greece. Dedicated to critical dialogue and exchange across art, science, technology, and society, TTT brings together artists, artistic researchers, scholars, curators, and practitioners to explore the boundaries of knowledge, established conventions, and emerging artistic and scientific practices.

Taking the placenta as both a biological reference and a conceptual framework for relationality, temporality, and mutual dependency, TTT2027 Vienna invites critical, experimental, and interdisciplinary perspectives on the conditions that sustain, shape, and transform life.

Participation is free of charge. There are no registration or participation fees for presenters or attendees. English is the working language of the conference.
