This lecture is organised in association with Brigham-Young University

Wednesday 29 October, 6.30 – 8pm
Wolfson Theatre, New Academic Building, LSE

Simon Glendinning, Professor of European Philosophy, European Institute, LSE and Director of the Forum for European Philosophy

Europe is an old and familiar part of the global geo-political landscape. And one can easily imagine how it might be the theme for analysis and investigation in various academic disciplines: in political science, geography, sociology, law, history, economics, and so on. But what about Europe as a theme for thinking in philosophy? In this lecture, Simon Glendinning will explore what, if anything, philosophy might contribute to an understanding of Europe, and of Europe today.
