Conference:  The Semantics/Pragmatics Distinction and Philosophical Methodology

The conference intends to address the following questions: What is the
function of the semantics-pragmatics distinction? Are the different
participants in the debate trying to account for the same distinction?
On which basis, i.e. referring to what kind of arguments, can a
particular account of the distinction between semantics and pragmatics
be defended?
