The next Barcelona Workshop on Reference (BW9) will take place from June 22 through 24, 2015.

The topic of the conference is the unity and individuation of structured propositions.

The venue is Department of Logic, History and Philosophy of Science, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Barcelona, 6 Carrer de Montalegre, Barcelona (inner city), Spain.

The organizers are Bjørn Jespersen and Manuel García-Carpintero.

Confirmed speakers include: Jeffrey King (Rutgers), Scott Soames (University of Southern California), Peter W Hanks (Minnesota), Gary Ostertag (CUNY), Lorraine Keller (Niagara), Marie Duží (VSB), Peter Pagin (Stockholm), Benjamin Schnieder (Hamburg), Bjørn Jespersen (Barcelona).

We invite researchers working on the topic of the conference to submit an abstract. There will be around four slots for contributed papers. The abstracts must be anonymized (please attach a separate title page), have a word count of max. 1,000 words, and be submitted to the organizers no later than 1 March 2015. Notification of acceptance will be sent out by 30 March 2015. The selection will be made by a scientific board.

Attendance is free of charge, but please let us know in advance if you will be attending in order to make sure you get a seat.

Synthese will be devoting a special issue guest-edited by the organizers to the topic of the conference.
