Description

Action is a complex phenomenon at the heart of human cognition. Progress in understanding action requires that we take an interdisciplinary approach integrating different perspectives from Philosophy, Psychology and Neuroscience.

The purpose of this summer school is to train a new generation of young philosophers and scientists of action with interdisciplinary skills. By bringing together leading proponents of the major theoretical perspectives on action in Philosophy, Psychology, and Neuroscience, it will provide students and junior researchers with an unparalleled opportunity to think across traditional disciplinary boundaries, and draw novel connections between theory and data.
