Details

We invite papers from graduate students, or those who have recently completed their PhD, on any topic in the Philosophy of Mathematics and Logic, broadly construed. Papers will have respondents, and will be followed by open discussion.

Papers should be no longer than 4,000 words, and suitable for a 40 minute presentation. They should also be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 150 words. The paper should be anonymised and suitable for blind refereeing. Please include a separate detachable cover sheet including name, title, institution, and contact details. Please note that we cannot accept more than one submission per student.

The deadline for receipt of submissions is 17h00 on the 25th November 2011. We will notify authors of the decision regarding their papers by the 10th of December. We hope to be able to cover the accommodation and reasonable travel expenses of speakers. Respondents will be selected from amongst the authors who submit papers and members of the Cambridge University Faculty of Philosophy and graduate students.

Electronic submissions are preferred in .doc, .rtf or .pdf format. They should be e-mailed to [email protected]. If papers cannot be submitted electronically, two hard copies should be sent to:
