CONFERENCE THEME:

Epistemology in general is concerned with the study of knowledge broadly conceived. This conference focuses on a particularly popular approach to epistemology in recent years: virtue epistemology. Virtue epistemology has offered novel approaches to a variety of key problems in epistemology, including such central themes as the nature of knowledge and justified belief, the structure of knowledge, scepticism and the value and normativity of knowledge.

CONTRIBUTIONS:

The Centre for Logic and Analytic Philosophy invites contributions to the conference. Papers on all issues in virtue epistemology are welcome.

In order to contribute, please send an extended abstract of no more than 1000 words, prepared for blind reviewing, to the following email address:

[email protected]

A selection of papers may be included in a proposal for a special issue on the topic of the conference.

The deadline for submissions is 15.7.2015. Contributors whose abstracts are accepted will be notified by 30.7.2015.
