We invite abstracts for papers to be included in the third Ethics and Explanation Conference to be held at the University of Nottingham on 22-23 February, 2016. This conference is a part of the ongoing AHRC funded Ethics and Explanation Research Project. Abstracts should cover topics in Ethics and Explanation (broadly construed). We are especially interested in papers which discuss issues relating to Theory/Anti-Theory in Ethics, or Levels of Explanation/Types of Explanation. Abstracts of 500-800 words should be prepared for blind review and sent to [email protected] The deadline for submission of abstracts is 5 December 2015 with notifications of decisions by 19 December 2015.
In addition, anyone with interest in attending the workshop is invited to submit a short note (to [email protected]) indicating her/his interest in commenting on a paper or chairing a session
Accommodation and all UK travel expenses will be covered for all speakers. We also expect to have some funds available to assist with international travel expenses.
