The Penn Ancient Workshop (PAW) invites paper proposals for twenty-minute presentations (followed by twenty-minute discussions) on Lucretius’ On the Nature of Things (De rerum natura). The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

Proposals should deal with some philosophical aspect of Lucretius’ poem. We welcome a range of methodological approaches and encourage participation from scholars in related disciplines.
