The philosophy departments of Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin are hosting the annual Dublin Graduate Philosophy Conference. The keynote speakers will be Dr Ralf Bader from the University of Oxford and Dr Alice Pinheiro Walla from Trinity College Dublin. This conference’s theme is ‘Kant, Metaethics and Value’, and it aims to explore questions on the subject of value as well as general metaethical questions surrounding Kant’s moral theory, broadly construed (both from a historical and contemporary perspective).

Tickets for general admission (with catering included) are €35 (and €25 for students). Alternatively, it is possible to register for free admission without availing of the catering provided. The deadline for booking catering is Saturday 07th May. There will also be a 3 course conference dinner on Saturday in KC Peaches at 7.30pm. If you would like to join us, please book a ticket that includes dinner on the Eventbrite page (which will be an extra €30).

Accessibility information: The Trinity Long Room Hub building, the lecture theatre, seminar room and ideas space are completely accessible for wheelchair users. The building entrance for wheelchair users is through an elevator beside the front steps. The conference presentations will not be recorded. There are also no hearing loop systems installed in the building.
