The Hope and Optimism Project (Notre Dame/Cornell) invites paper submissions for a 2 day workshop on Hope and Optimism, April 22-23, at the University of Notre Dame. Papers should be on hope, optimism, trust, or related themes, including as they bear on social/political philosophy, moral philosophy, or philosophy of religion. Papers should be anonymized, include an abstract, and be up to 4,000 words. Authors selected will be offered travel and housing for the workshop.  

Speakers include:  Mark Bernier (Azusa Pacific),  Cheshire Calhoun (Arizona State), Adam Kadlac (Wake Forest), Adrienne Martin (Claremont McKenna), Michael Pace (Chapman), Thomas Simpson (Oxford)
