New Perspectives on Plato’s Philosophy (NPPP) invites paper proposals for thirty-minute presentations (followed by fifteen-minute discussions) on any aspect of Plato’s Philosophy. The international conference will be held on June 28-29-30, 2016 at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) in São Paulo, Brazil.
Proposals should deal with some philosophical aspect of Plato’s philosophy, especially metaphysics, epistemology, psychology and cosmology. We welcome a range of methodological approaches.
Please submit proposals by January 31, 2016 to [email protected]. The proposals (of no more than 500 words) should be formatted for blind review and sent as an attachment (word document or pdf). Proposals are accepted in Portuguese, English or French. Please include contact information and institutional affiliation in the body of your email. Acceptance notices will be sent out by February 15, 2016 at the latest.
Upon acceptance of proposals, participants must submit their full papers (of about 3000 words) by June 1, 2016.
