---

We invite submissions of papers by graduate students to the 16th Annual Oxford Philosophy Graduate Conference to be held on the weekend of the 17-18th of November 2012.

Papers should be around 4000 words long, and can be on any topic in academic philosophy. We are particularly looking for papers that are accessible to a general philosophical audience. Our aim is to represent a broad range of philosophical interests and traditions in our final selections.

This year we are pleased to announce that our Keynote Speakers are

Candace Vogler (Chicago) and

Jennifer Saul (Sheffield)

One important aspect of the Oxford conference is that each student presentation is followed by a response from a member of Oxford faculty. This presents a wonderful opportunity for students to receive feedback on their work from an expert in the field, and ensures for many interesting discussions throughout the conference and beyond. In addition to student and keynote presentations, there will be ample opportunity to interact with Oxford faculty as well as other graduate students. We are proud to say that our conference is one of the most prestigious philosophy conferences in the United Kingdom on a graduate level.

The submission deadline is the 18th of August 2012.
