The Loyola Philosophy Graduate Conference will be held on October 14-15, 2016.

Our keynote speakers this year will be Christina Lafont (Northwestern University) and David Schweickart (Loyola University Chicago).

We welcome conference papers by graduate students on any topic but will show preference to those related to our social and political theme. We encourage submissions from those working in underrepresented fields and applied philosophy. We also encourage submissions from students working in related fields, such as law, political science, economics, and sociology.

Please prepare your paper for blind review by removing any identifying information. With your submission, include a separate cover sheet with the following information: author, university or affiliation, email address, word count and an abstract of 100-200 words. All papers should be in either MS Word (.doc, .docx) or Rich Text format (.rtf).

Submit your paper and cover sheet electronically to: [email protected]

Papers should be no longer than 3500 words.

The submission deadline is September 1. Decisions will be made and applicants notified by September 15.
