As of this academic year Prof. Piet Steenbakkers (Philosophy) will retire. On Friday 2 September there will be a symposium dedicated to his scientific work, with speakers from the various areas Piet Steenbakkers has contributed to, followed by a public lecture.
Piet Steenbakkers has worked as an Assistant Professor since 2003 and then as an Associate Professor at Utrecht University. Since 2004 he has also held the special chair for Spinoza Studies, on behalf of the Vereniging Het Spinozahuis, at the University of Rotterdam.
Location: Utrecht University, Academiegebouw, Kanunnikenzaal, Domplein (entry via the main entrance of the Academiegebouw, next to the Cathedral Church, or via the back entrance, Achter de Dom)
