As part of its scientific events, the Centre for Study and Research on the social and political justice (CERJUSP) organizes from 20 to 24 August 2012 at Nkolbisson Campus of the Catholic University of Central Africa (Yaoundé/Cameroon) a bilingual scientific week called «The Yaoundé PhD Course – Theories of Justice». The seminar is open only to PHD students whose axes of research focuses on theories of justice, regardless of discipline (philosophy, economics, sociology, anthropology ...) and who are enrolled at universities in Europe and North America or at African universities. Entries for the seminar is limited to 20 students of whom 10 enrolled in non-African universities and another 10 enrolled in African universities.
This PhD seminar will focus on the theme of the Global Justice with the following professors who have confirmed their participation:

The scientific bilingual week will be organized around three main activities:
- Lectures,
- Feedback on submit papers (PhD thesis project),
- An intervention of PhD students in the Cameroonian public debate on issues related to theories of justice.
Interested applicants should send an email to [email protected] and [email protected] later than May 31st with "Registration Yaoundé Phd Course" as subject. Other information (CV, letter of recommendation, PhD project thesis) will be requested for June 10th.
The participation fee amounts to 100 euros for each doctoral student. Funding opportunities exist for African doctoral students. Successful candidates will take charge of their travel between their country of residence and Yaoundé.
