The Netherlands Journal of Legal Philosophy (formerly known as Rechtsfilosofie & Rechtstheorie) is an international peer-reviewed journal devoted to the study of legal philosophy and jurisprudence and to the foundations of the legal sciences broadly construed (sociology of law, anthropology of law, etc.) The journal publishes articles and book reviews in both English and in Dutch.
In addition to two regular issues, the journal publishes an annual special issue centered around an original contribution by a prominent scholar in the field. Previous special issues have been devoted to the work of Patrick Glenn, Bonnie Honig, Philip Pettit, Neil Walker and Gunther Teubner.
The editors of NJLP are happy to announce that the journal is now also available as an open access journal. As a result, the journal provides a unique platform for philosophers of law who wish to make their scholarly work accessible to a wide international audience.
