Details

The Foundation for Responsible Robotics and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative are joining forces to raise awareness of the global issues related to the use of drones in humanitarian contexts. We are organizing a 2-day event at the Institute for Global Justice, The Hague, to draft a follow-up to the 2014 OCHA report: an open session on March 7 that is open to the public and a closed session (March 8) during which we will draft a first version of the report. Confirmed panelists include: Allison Burtch (UNICEF), Andrew Billo (UNFPA), Rasha Abdul Rahim (Amnesty International), Alessandro Carrotta (DG-ECHO), Denise Soesilo (FDA), Giacomo Rambalidi (CTA), Nathaniel Raymond (HHI), Rohan Bennet (ITS4land), Jessica Dorsey (PAX), and Irakli Beridze (UNICRI), Tina Comes (ISCRAM) among others.

We would like to invite you to attend this exciting event on March 7 and join us in both raising awareness of this issue as well as engaging in meaningful conversations to get things moving!
