CFP: Other Fields: Aesthetic Inquiry in New Landscape

A two-day conference at NYU Berlin will convene a group of artists, writers and researchers to re-examine landscape as a mode of inquiry in art.

As technology continues to develop, it expands our perception of spatial reality and thereby provides new subject matter for aesthetic questions. Yet how does the artist remain present when reality is experienced through data?

Call for Participants

Artists, researchers, faculty, graduate students and PhD students interested in particpating in the meeting should submit the following items to [email protected] no later than May 31st, 11:59 EST. 

1. Statment of interest in the subject (200 words max)

2. Link to relevant work (optional)

A travel stipend will be provided to support participants' travel to Berlin.
