To think the limits of globalization and globalism, the crisis of the nation-State, and to generate knowledge that would help understand the meaning of the recent transformations in the way in which borders are thought, particularly, the México-USA border.

Topics:

-  The paradoxes within the concept of border (inside/outside, immanence/trascendence, shutting in/opening up)

- Migration politics and rethoric (causes, strategies, consequences, alternatives)

- Transborder artistic movements

- Nation-State, globalization, globalism

-Geopolitics and biopolitics of borders/of the border

Format:

Complete text: 5 pages minimum. 1.5 line spacing. Font: Times New Roman Font size: 12 Citation format: APA.

Anticipate 20 minutes maximum of presentation time. Papers accepted both in spanish and english. Include topic(s) of interest with abstract.
