ABSTRACT: The endurantist is, surprisingly, committed to various metaphysical positions she may not have thought. For instance, she’s committed to interesting, and perhaps controversial, views about mereology and is required to give an account of location. These come out under pressure from objections and reveal misunderstandings of the endurantist ontology. I highlight these commitments and what they mean for the endurantist - for instance I argue that, contra appearances, if endurantism is true we can have a brick wall that isn’t a composite object.
