I am calling for short abstracts around the philosophy - education studies interface. Selected and suitably developed contributions will be included in an edited book to be published with a major UK publisher. I am particularily interested in (but not limited to) contributions around the educational implications of
- philosophical anthropology and a justification to educate as all
- human life in a world of reasons (as opposed to causes and physical determinism)
- philosophy of mind (behaviourist and cognitive scientific accounts and educational assessment)
- ethical problems and
- social frameworks wherein which education is couched
If interested, send a brief abstract and we can discuss the development of this proposal further. Early career researchers are welcome. The book aims at education studies undergraduates in their last year of study.
