For the 8th centennial of the Seraphic Doctor’s birth, this International and Interdisciplinary Symposium on “Deus summe cognoscibilis. The current theological relevance of St. Bonaventure” follows in the line of the last great international symposiums of 1974. We will seek to discover the ways in which the author remains a stimulating interlocutor, according to the potentialities of his thinking (actualitas) and to the challenges we are encountering in connection with today’s more significant contemporary issues. Fruit of a collaboration between different academicals Institutions and of a common research process between scholars, the Symposium, held in Italian, English, Spanish and French, will alternate keynote address, papers in response and panel discussion in dialogue with the audience.
Day 1 is dedicated to the issue of theological method and Revelation; Day 2 to the theology of Creation and Christology; and Day 3 to ecclesiology and sacramental and Trinitarian theology.
Free entrance, but online registration is required. Programme and Registration Form at https://www.unigre.it/eventi/sanbonaventura/index_en.php
