The 12th annual Undergraduate Philosophy Conference at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) will be held October 20th and 21st, 2017. Philip Kitcher, John Dewey Professor of Philosophy at Columbia University will deliver the keynote address entitled "The Human Project." The conference welcomes papers in any area of philosophy from undergraduate students currently enrolled at a college or university. The conference organizers, however, will give special consideration to papers related to Professor Kitcher's work and the philosophy of science generally. The submission deadline is September 11th. Edwardsville is located in the greater St. Louis, MO metro region; additional details about travel to and accommodations for the conference will be provided upon acceptance of papers.
