The Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest, and the Institute for Research in Humanities, University of Bucharest, are happy to announce the 7th edition of the Bucharest Graduate Conference on History and Philosophy of Science: Methodology, Experimental Practices and Concept Formation.

The conference will take place at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest, and at the IRH-ICUB. Advanced MA and PhD students working in the field of History and Philosophy of Science are invited to participate.

We welcome submissions on any topic related to the field of History and Philosophy of Science. However, we encourage papers with a special focus on early modern philosophy, broadly understood (roughly the period 1500-1800 CE). Proposals should be sent to [email protected].

The deadline for submissions has been extended to November 15. Applications should include an abstract (500 words max.) and a CV. The organizing committee will notify authors of its decision by December 1st. Each participant will be given 40 mins, that is, 25 mins per presentation and 15 mins for Q&A.

There is no participation fee. However, we do not cover travelling and accommodation expenses.
