The new DFG research unit 'What If - On the Meaning, Scientific Relevance and Epistemology of Counterfactual Claims and Thought Experiments', cofunded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, would like to cordially invite everyone interested in the topic to its opening conference, to be held (in English) at the University of Konstanz from October 25 to October 27, 2012.
