Details

Current graduate students are invited to submit their work to be considered for presentation at the 2018 Harvard/MIT Graduate Conference in Philosophy, to be held at MIT on 17 February 2018. The keynote speaker will be Carolina Sartorio, whose research concerns causation, agency, free will, moral responsibility, and other issues at the intersection of metaphysics, the philosophy of action and moral theory.

Submissions will be ‘open’, but we particularly encourage those that keep in the theme of research areas above, as well as those that concern the historical development of philosophical thought in these areas.

Submissions of no more than 4000 words, with abstracts of no more than 250 words, should be prepared for blind review and sent in PDF or Word format to [email protected].

The deadline for submission is 15 December 2017, and students whose work is accepted will be contacted by 16 January 2018.

Questions about the conference should be directed to the same email address as submissions.
