The aim of this international conference, dedicated to the memory of the eminent Polish philosopher Professor Marek J. Siemek (1942-2011), is to explore a wide array of topics, ranging from classical themes of metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of mind, to social, legal, and political philosophy in its contemporary reading.

The conference is part of a project financed by the National Programme of Humanities Development (Narodowy Program Rozwoju Humanistyki).
