Details

Based on the award-winning book "Postnarrativist Philosophy of Historiography" (Palgrave 2015), the workshop focuses on the current state of the philosophy of history and historiography. Issues such as narrativism, rationality, representationalism and pragmatism will be handled. The central questions are: What is historical knowledge? How can it be justified?

The workshop consist of seminars, practical work, visit to a local museum, and public lectures.

When applying, please write a brief motivation letter. Application deadline is 11 December 2017. We announce acceptance at latest by 3 January 2018.

A limited number of travel grants of up to 200 euros are available. Please indicate your need of travel grant in the application form.
