This is an open themed event. In keeping with the pluralistic commitment of the LSU department, we invite papers that reflect the full diversity of philosophical traditions including, but not limited to, environmental ethics, epistemology, philosophy of mind, phenomenology, philosophy of language, critical race theory, feminism, and eastern philosophy.

We will give special consideration to papers that complement the speaker’s areas of research including: contemporary continental philosophy, ethics, social and political philosophy, gender and sexuality studies, and feminist theory.

Presentation time slots will be 20 minutes each, with an additional 10 minutes for Q&A

Papers should be no more than 3,500 words and prepared for blind review as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file. Please include a separate document with your name, academic affiliation, email address, paper title, word count, and an abstract of no more than 250 words.
