CALL FOR PAPERS:

It isn't a matter of if we will encounter difference and disagreement in our lives, but rather a matter of when. Indeed, whether we look towards metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, politics, aesthetics etc., difference and disagreement are abounding. Realizing this, the question then becomes how we deal with these occurances. Such a concern appears to lie not only at the heart of our current socio-political environment but, also, our metaphysical, historical, sociological landscape and backgrounds. How are we to understand ourselves as different and is disagreement, conflict inevitable? Can we live, think, breathe, be with our differences?

Overall, our conference invites and welcomes all areas of philosophical inquiry so please send papers regardless if they fit the topic of difference and disagreement. However, paper selection will preference those essays which address the theme of this year's conference. Consistent with our Jesuit balues, we are dedicated to prompting academic diversity, courage and an effort to foster a strong community of inquiry.

Papers should be formatted for blind review and be approximately 2000 words and or suitable for  a 15-minutes presentation. All identifying information such as name, university affiliation and abstract is to be included with the body of the email or as a separate document.

ALL PAPERS AND INQUIRIES SHOULD BE SENT TO:
