We are pleased to announce the 2018 Graduate & Early Careers Philosophy Conference at the University of Washington, Seattle. The topic of the conference will be climate change. Anthropogenic climate change is a pressing global problem that requires greater philosophical and interdisciplinary engagement in how to properly understand and respond to it. This conference aims to bring together early career scholars from different philosophical backgrounds to share their work on various philosophical dimensions of climate change.

We are seeking high-quality submissions that address pressing philosophical issues concerning climate change. This includes, but not limited to, works in philosophy of science, applied ethics, epistemology, and political philosophy.

Submissions can be made by email to [email protected].

The submission due date is Friday, February 16, 2018.

Please send papers prepared for blind review as an attachment in either .doc or .pdf format. Papers are to be 3,000 words or less and suitable for a 30 minute presentation.
