Details

The graduate students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invite submissions of quality work by current graduate students in any area of philosophy, particularly those on the philosophy of education. Papers focusing on the work of Harry Brighouse and work on education rooted in applied ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, or social and political philosophy are especially welcome. A $100 prize will be awarded to the author of the best paper on philosophy of education.

Papers should be approximately 3000 words in length and preceded by a 250-word abstract. All submissions should be prepared for blind review.

Presentations will be 20 minutes followed by a 10 minute commentary. Responses will be 5 minutes followed by 20 minutes of discussion.
