CFP: University of Iowa Graduate Philosophy Society Conference

Fellow graduate students,

We are issuing a Call for Papers for University of Iowa Graduate Philosophy Conference hosted by the Philosophy Department at University of Iowa, April 6-7, 2018.

Date: April 6-7, 2018

Keynote: David Sosa, The University of Texas at Austin

Keynote presentation will be on Friday the 6th at 3:00pm

Graduate presentations will be on Saturday the 7th

Paper length: 3,000 words (Excluding footnotes and references)

Abstract length: 150 words

Submission deadline: Fabruary 23, 2018

Submissions should be sent to: [email protected]

Papers on any topic of interest in philosophy are welcome. Submissions should be prepared for blind review and formatted as either .doc, .docx, or .pdf.  Include two documents.  (1) The paper.  (2) A title page with the paper's title, abstract, author's name, email address, and institutional affiliation.  

Questions should be sent to the same address as the submissions.

Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by early-March.
