Details

Given the current political atmosphere, the graduate students of PGSA have chosen this topic with its relevance to the world at large in mind, and hope to generate frank and honest philosophical discussion with regard to our shared planet. We welcome all proposals addressing themes within the discipline of Environmental Ethics (broadly construed) including such themes as current environmental issues and policies, animal rights, conservation, ethical consumption, climate change, resource allocation, ecofeminism, anthropocentrism, sustainable urban development, etc. We encourage intellectual diversity and will accept submissions from Asian, African, and other viewpoints.
