The Tagung für Praktische Philosophie is an annual event and brings together scholars from all disciplines of practical philosophy, including ethics, social and political philosophy, and philosophy of law. In 2018 the VI. edition of the Tagung will take place at the University of Salzburg on 27 and 28 September 2018.
The Tagung is one of the biggest of its type in the German-speaking countries with about 100 speakers. The kenyote speakers for the 2018 edition will be Elisabeth Holzleithner (Vienna) and Ralf Stoecker (Bielefeld). The conference language is German but presentations in English are possible.
The submission of abstracts for single papers and for thematic panels (consisting of three or more papers) is possible until 1 April 2018. The organizers invite all interested colleagues, junior and senior, to submit abstracts via the conference homepage. The conference fee is 30€ and covers the conference folder, coffee breaks, and one lunch snack on Friday.
More information about the VI. Tagung für Praktische Philosophie (and the previous editions) can be found on the homepage (in German only): http://www.tagung-praktische-philosophie.org
