Dear Colleagues,

We have the pleasure of inviting you to the scientific conference „Around Hypermodernism”, to be held at the University of Warsaw (Poland) on 14 June, 2017, organised by the Faculty Artes Liberales of the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw.

The aim of the conference is to compare various concepts of hypermodernism and various diagnoses concerning today’s epoque and to discuss before all the following questions:

Do we live in times of postmodernism or should we announce also the end of postmodernism and try to draw features of the present epoque? If so, what can we understand by „hypermodernism” or „hypermodern times”? Can it be an adequate name for the state of culture or the state of mind or spirit of today’s societies? Or maybe it could be a name for a new project for people of the 21st century?

We invite scholars, PhD students and students representing different scientific disciplines in order to take into account many perspectives referring to many aspects of our complex reality.

Please, send your submissions until May 6, 2018: hipermodkonf@gmail.com

Submission should contain: a title of presented paper, abstract and basic information about an author, esp. his/her title and affiliation.

Notifications will be sent until May 14, 2018.

A conference fee is: 100 PLN (25 euro) for scholars and 50 PLN (12 euro) for students and PhD students.
