The Graduate Philosophy Club at Virginia Tech, together with the Minorities And Philosophy chapter at VT, is pleased to annouce the 15th Annual Virginia Tech Graduate Conference in Philosophy. Our topic this year is Philosophy of Race, Gender, and Social Groups, broadly construed. The conference will be held on October 19th-20th, 2018, at the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. All talks will be free and open to the public.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: Elizabeth Barnes (UVA) and Meena Krishnamurthy (U Michigan, Ann Arbor)

SUBMISSIONS: We welcome graduate student submissions that address philosophical issues concerning race, gender, or social groups, broadly construed. Submissions may be from any philosophical sub-field, providing they engage with topics relevant to social phenomena

We especially encourage submissions from members of groups historically underrepresented in philosophy.
